J-Term

Which schools have something like Williams' J-Term where in January there is a short month-long term where you can do internships, a class, etc?

I think you're thinking about the 4-1-4 calendar.

Some colleges have it, like MIT.

Edit: I couldn't find a comprehensive list, but here's something from an article (which confirms that 'J-term' or Jan bterm is the same as 4-1-4):

Others schools that are offering the Jan Term are Austin College in Sherman, Texas; Linfield College in Portland, Ore.; Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Ala.; and St. Mary's of California in Moraga, Calif.
