Hey guys! So i just received a survey asking me to fill out any additional scholarships I received as well as confirming my college and major. It then said it needs to be completed my tomorrow night so my guess is we will hear back within the week…
did anyone call to see if we will hear back today?

@WMBound2019 @Tee1234 I think you may be right! I just called a contact and they said that they hope to release decisions by the end of the week.

@autumnisque why do I get the feeling it’s the end of the road for us, LOL. Sorry - I’m pessimistic, but also a realist. I’m from Pennsylvania, you?
@FutureSurgeon97 @autumnisque I would hold your pessimism (or “realism”) until it was all said and done A certain poster on here seemed convinced that it was HIGHLY unlikely that students would pass onto the semi-finalist round I f they were not notified sometime before April 30th or early May (at the latest) about their status. The realist in me reasoned that this would make sense as they would need adequate time to consider our applications and interview performance. I ended up (along with many others) receiving notification the second week of May, and apparently other people had interviews near the END of May as well…leaving them two weeks or so to make final decisions. I received the survey a day after my interview whereas other people received it days or a week after their interview. Just recently, someone said they received it today. Don’t count yourself out just yet!

I got that survey about a month ago or so, saying it was due June 1st. I’m assuming that results aren’t coming out today (even though the website says today specifically), the waiting is killing me.

Though I should mention that I’m a UCLA applicant so I don’t know if the results differ any. One of you should try calling the office to inquire on behalf of all the regionals.

I really can’t articulate how upset I am. I’ve been so high strung all day, all weekend. I was trying to prepare for the worst so I won’t be disappointed. It feels like there’s an ominous black cloud over my head. I just can’t believe that this date has been set for months upon months and they just didn’t hand out the results
But to the other poster, I, too got that survey about college major and additional scholarships but I got it last week.

@mel159 I feel you, I’ve been checking my email endlessly all day and been looking forward to this day for months. I wish they would have stuck with it, but I suppose everything happens for a reason. We’ll know soon enough
