^ Dang no, when was the email sent? I thought it was going to be late March haha

Congratulations to jsmathwiz! It sounds like HS Seniors get the priority?

Weird. I too thought results were coming out in mid-to-late March.

I was actually really surprised. I thought I was going to be rejected, and the email came around 10 am EST.

Congratulations, jsmathwiz. Has anyone else heard back from JXSSP?

Weird… I thought it was like late March. But they do email everyone right? Eventually?

My son received the email that he was accepted this morning too. :)

I do know that they do eventually email all applicants of their status, but I’m not sure if all notifications are sent at the same time.

I didn’t receive notice of anything, but I did have one teacher who completely forgot about my recommendation so… oh well. Congrats to everyone who made it! That is really exciting!

congrats to those who got accepted :)

are those who got accepted emailed first? or are the acceptances dispersed?

@adosadvising, May I ask if your son is a high school senior?

did you guys get notification ever that your entire application (inc recs, etc) was received?

I got a notification that one of my recommendations wasn’t received, so they extended the deadline for recommendations for another week.

@wishhimwell: My son is not a HS senior. He’s currently a college sophomore at a school in Bar Harbor and already works at Jax 3 or so days a week. He’s on the young side, though, and was only 16 when he started at Jax this past September, so I don’t think they have an issue with high school-age kids, if that’s a concern.

Do you think I should email them about learning about having a LD? I actually just found out, even though I’m a second semester junior. It has affected my grades. My grades are not the best (though I’m not sure they care TOO much about GPA given no official transcript was needed).

@adosadvising, thank you. Mine is a current HS Jr. who has pretty strong stats. Hence I am asking.

@quidditchcat,they are not taking any updates at this point.
