We haven't heard from our girl in a while...are you out there JM?

I've been out of commision for a few days with computer issues. First I took a hack saw to the old rust bucket. Then I warmed "him" up with my blow torch. Next I put it under the car & backed over it three times. I just can't get the thing to work. :) So busy at work that I've not had time to visit here. ARRRGGGG. And I jumped on here and what do I see??? Our own place! YAY! Promise I will get on here tomorrow & check in with everyone. Looks like I've missed alot!
I'll be back

Jamsmom: Welcome back.

You scared me when I first read in your posting "First I took a hack saw to the old rust bucket. Then I warmed "him" up with my blow torch. Next I put it under the car & backed over it three times." I thought you might have done in your husband. Fortunately it was only your computer.

I'M BACK!! I came home to a new system set up in the old home office. I had to email #2 son at USMMA & tell him that he is still #2 son because #1 son came over to set everything up. FYI - I ran over the husband once already last week and now I can't have a go at him for another month. Life is unfair that way sometimes. And then, I get on here finally and LOOK, ya'll have taken over the place! The serious stuff ends here. Ya'll better watch out! LOL! I've been saving up! It took me a while to read everything. WOW! The photos are great! And the new threads are exactly what this place needed. I'm doin' the happy dance. Very cool indeed. A place of our own that seems to be very productive. Hello world! I'm back! :)

Had to dust this thread off as we haven't heard from the gal in several dayz...

Doesn't she have a bunch of goofy ( ;) ) relatives visiting her?

think I remember her saying she had a house-full coming.....maybe they really did send her over the edge! Gosh- I hope not! Where is Jamz when we need him? Quick- get the chocolates!

Maybe she od'd on exam bars...

What a way to go!;)

I'm baaaaack! I couldn't describe the experience of having a dozen of your family members come in to stay for a week if I tried. Well maybe other than it came close to a Roadrunner & Wiley Coyote cartoon & I was the Coyote. Anvil on my head & all. My house was almost burnt to the ground twice, my wine cellar is totally empty even the special stuff I had hid WAY in the back, somebody knocked a picture off the wall and broke a clock then wouldn't fess up. How the heck does a clock get broken?! I'm sure that the neighbors considered calling the police one of the nights.... HA! Ahhhhh the peace and quiet..... (After we played airline shuttle service to two different cities this morning) As I was waving them off, I was saying very softly..."Buh-Bye you crazy fools! Don't come back anytime soon!" Thanks for being concerned about me ya'll!

Well, we were ready to send out the troops for you! you haven't missed too much- bossf51 has been behaving himself, now that he is a learned crew parent- hope you have a quiet week now to recover! I wonder if we get older if we have no clock to watch time pass by...hummm!

Glad to see JM back in the house! She and Aspen keep me in stitches with their funny posts.
JM did you notice the KP crew in the pics? They were the ones with the light blue wind suits. I took a few shots for your benefit.
Sounds like you had quite a week. We only had 12 inches of rain to contend with. Your situation sounds worse.

ah, all the kids are accounted for- except what happened to peaceful mom? Think she got washed away?

12 inches of rain... In my mind, that equals an inch per family member. Yep. I woulda took the rain anyday... The photos were fantastic Boss! I did indeed see "our" guys. It only made me more jealous that I wasn't up there though. Navy2010, prayerfulmom is near. Heard from her yesterday. She is at peace. HA! Fixed the clock but still playing Sherlock to figure out who did it! I am 95% positive it wasn't me! :)
