I heard from someone i Know that essay grading is mostly based on length
I wrote 3/4 of 2 pages and is it possible that I can get 10 on essay?
My essay was about drawbacks that an issue has outside itself like impacts on its surroundings and negative feedback and stuff.
THNKSs

The grade is based of these factors: being on topic, a succinct and clear introduction that states your thesis and prepares the reader for the examples, 2-3 compelling examples that are clearly on topic and which suggest “maturity”, relevant on topic proof in the examples (as distinct from unproven assertions or an anecdotal summary), a succinct summary with a “perspective”, minimal repetition and good writing mechanics. In practice if you do all this, you’re likely to end up with 400+ words. It’s quite possible to do the same with somewhat fewer words.

Length by itself won’t get you a good score.

haha thanks for pointing it out but that does not answer my question;
my question was whether I could get a 10 with an 3/4 page essay.
Because based on what I heard regardless of the content length gives you higher score.
you said consider other factors but what does that tell me?
A possible interpretation of my question would be what is the average score that people who wrote 3/4 page essay get on their writing assuming quality is the same?
Thanks for trying to be informative but it was not what I asked for sorry. :)

well, that sounds a bit risky…I got my essay a 9 last october, and I left 10 lines unwritten(cause I wrote too many words each line). I suppose the length is the reason.(I got a TOEFL writing score of 30, so I do not really think that I am that unskilled at writing…)
This time (1.28) I finished my essay just at the bottom line of the second page, so I hope I can do better…

it makes much sense becuase collegeboard gets like loads of essays every test and they can’t look through each of them, they will grade them based on length.
