Jan. Feb. SAT and ACT for Cornell

My scores for RD are really low: 1970 SAT and 32 ACT. If scores in January and February (respectively) are even early enough, should I study and take them again? I've applied to CAS as a genetics, bio major. ECs are strong and recommendations are very strong, grades are great, and location is super small town midwest SAT IIs are 770 bio and 660 math 1c I probably wont have the ability to study for both. Which should I take if either? Would studying for one improve the other?

Suggestions?

Thanks,
Derek

I'm almost in the exact same boat. 1960 SAT, 33 ACT, and cant take either again. Hoping my Jan. SAT IIs pick it up. Also have really stong ECs (Class President, Chapter FFA President, Football Co-Captain, Quest finalist, etc.) and really stong recomendations. From rural town in Montana, pop. 700.

does cornell accept the february ACT?

to both of you, forget your SAT, ur 1970 and 1960 respectively are equivalent to like low 1300s on the SATs. Your 32 ACT and 33 ACT are like 1480 SAT scores. Just don't send your SAT. Your ACT is great.

im also curious as to whether cornell accepts the february act

So what's an average SAT score that Cornell looks upon positively?

I was told to shoot for 700 in each section. So 1400/2100.
