Hey I am an international test taker. My January score is held at the status ''Not Yet Available". Nobody from my test center got their scores and I need to know what is going on.

Did you take a make up test? If so then you will probably have to wait. However, if you did not, then your scores probably got delayed for some reasons. Many students taking the SAT have faced the same problem as you. I would advise you to either call the CB center or email them :B That is the only way of knowing precisely what the problem is.

I called them they said your answer sheet is under going our exception scoring process

I had a similar thing happen to me and that’s their nice way of saying that they suspect you of cheating. Now, I kid you not when I say that my December score took almost 2 months to be released. Under their standard flagging policy, if your score increased substantially, you will undergo a routine check to make sure you didn’t cheat, in which case your score will most likely be released within 2 weeks. On the other hand, if they have any reason to believe you cheated, or that the students in your test center also cheated, the process will take a substantially longer period of time (for me, it took 2 months) because they have to check your essays against other kids, check your answers to the person sitting next to you, in front of you…you get the idea right?

there is no use calling them. They will be evasive and tell you to wait patiently and that they cannot tell your for what reason your score is being investigated or why it is getting delayed. In fact, they may even tell you go to their website and that all the information is there.

If you do not receive your score within 2 weeks, you will then receive an email from the person who is charge of your case and the phone number of that person. You will be given a case number (you know for sure if you get this email that they think you cheated) There is point in calling this person either, for they will be also be evasive and simply repeat the same stuff. They will also tell you that you may have to wait a substantially longer period of time to receive your scores…

Either that, or they simply made a stupid technical glitch as in scanned all the tests at your center incorrectly

let me clarify…the first type of cheating mentioned is just standard "his score went up several hundred points so let’s do a cursory review to make sure he didn’t cheat…not that thorough of an investigation)…the second type of cheating is that they can suspect you of is that they do indeed have valid reason to believe that you cheated or that the answers were somehow leaked in the particular test center that you took the test…in which the implications are much more serious…so naturally they have to do a really detailed thorough investigation…i mean shoot, i obviously didn’t cheat so now they released my dec score
