I chose antithetical too!

that’s what I thought initially but then I was stuck on the word “motivating”…the passage mentioned that diplomacy went against American ideals, but also seemed to say that economic interests were the motivation for interaction with other countries

aHHH YESsS I FINALLY REMEMBER THE ANTITHETICAL ONE NOW. yes i put antithetical to its motivating principles, not undermined by its inconsistent application. i think theres a consensus on antithetical. people dont criticize american diplomacy b/c its applied inconsistently but b/c it’s hypocritical at times → antithetical to its motivating principles

americans impose themselves in foreign matters and often meddle with things that go against their own interests. yet american is all about freedom to do whatever you want. so when we impose ourselves, we are considered hypocritical -> antithetical answer

hmmm makes sense… thanks @glasses1

can someone please tell me what they put for the question I mentioned above? I’m so curious!

I’m pretty sure it was “central”

“conservative…wary” I think

The section 10 writing one about old televisions and midnight was a verb tense one right? The underlined part had “will” and you had to change future to past right? Answer choice (B)? Someone please answer!!

yes it was conservative … wary of creating radical forms of art ( or something )

and it was script was central to the actor

@superninja it was just regular past tense, which i think was b, the verb from you were supposed to have changed it to was “x-ed” (i dont remember the actual verb was) not “will x”
or “has/had x-ed”

I think B but not positive…I changed it to “displayed”

Thanks glasses1

What’s the answer for the math gridin question:
5,8,10,12,x
average of the terms = median of the terms
it says what’s a possible number for x … I got 8.75
what other possibilities are there for x?

The other possibility is when x = 15 right?

for the last writing section, there was a question that started as “during television’s early years, many channels broadcast only until midnight…”

was “broadcast” a typo? since the question was talking about the past, shouldn’t it have said “broadcasted?”

Yeah I got x = 15

I agree hiim I thought it was a mistake.

Also I don’t think “broadcasted” is widely used…

Hey. Im a new user.

Could someone thoroughly explain the two triangle s/t question?

The answer to the s and t was 2 right?
