Keep in mind I’m an idiot in math and i average a 650 in reading, so I’m pretty ecstatic with my 1360/1600 first time SAT</p>

<p>If you log on to College Board and look under “SAT Scores” there’s a breakdown that includes your MC and essay scores.</p>
<p>My scores (first time, sophomore):
M: 800
CR: 730
W: 720 (8 essay, 75 MC)
Total: 2250</p>
<p>I’m really disappointed in my CR score. Out of the 3 practice tests (from the BB) I took, I scored 780, 800, 800. That 730 really came out of nowhere for me. Writing has always been my weakest area, but still. An 8 
If only I had gotten a 10 then I would have had 770, which would have been enough for 2300.</p>

<p>Geez…I hope you aren’t planning to spend your parents money to take it again. Those SAT scores are great, honestly another forty points at that level isn’t going to be the deciding factor for any college of you apply to. </p>
<p>If you don’t get in to the college of your choice it won’t be because they can’t see how smart you are. Just make sure you have interesting extra curricular activities and that your teachers don’t secretly hate you…
Sorry if I didn’t properly quote…smart phone issues. I’m not trying to be mean, just saying you should be proud with your scores and make sure that the rest of your application will be up to par with it.

<p>I actually think the essay graders are pretty generous…I took the test twice and I got a 12 on both essays, and I thought my essays were mediocre at best</p>

<p>I went from a 1900 in June, sophomore year… 1950 in November, to a 2160 (800M, 620Cr, and 740W) in Jan… I’m an international student. and I got a 800 in Math as you can see…
In my school, I know a few people who may worship me for this; the rest wil just be awed… Now… I dunno If it’s good enough!
