***January 2014 - Math Level 2***

I think I got (2, pi/2). How did you get that answer?

@Exeterlover I believe it was something like y = … - cos(pi*t/12) where t = # of months after January 1990.

Do you guys remember any of the last 6-7 questions besides the January question?

pi/2 is 90 degrees so it can’t be that, remember P?

What’d you guys get for the one that said there is plane M and point C is 6 inches away from the plane…question?

I believe you have to create a circle using pythagorean theorem. So use 6 and 12(hypothenuse). Get X, which is the radius.

That would have made a lot more sense than what I did. I just ended up estimating, because I somehow found it fit to ignore that there was space above C :|

that’s what i did @wingtour2000 !
I got 24 something

I got 10.3 something for the radius. For some reason, I was thinking of a square instead of a circle so I didn’t get an answer so I omitted, but I calculated it and i got 339 for the area.

I know I skipped at least five and, so far, don’t think I missed any ( unless they take the even/ odd number year one as actually adding an even or an odd number of years). How many probability questions were on the exam? I remember two.

January question:
the graph was like this: periodic with highest point at -12, then lowest at 0, then highest at 12… It should be Every odd january, since we have the first positive 12 at t=+1.

Posting a day late. Hahaha. I found it quite easy, but damn. I have around 2 mistakes already. :frowning:
I had around 3-5 omits btw
I got 7 for the n and 1 thingy and January Odd( I think)

wait jk i didn’t get 24 i got 24 for the perimeter of the triangle inside of the cube
I had a mini panic attack when I realized 24 didn’t make any sense but I think I’ve got it all figured out now haha

was the question about standard deviation A? The histogram with only one bar?

I got D for standard deviation, which was the graph with three constant bar graphs.

totally forgot about the standard deviation one!!! oh gosh…i put a, the one column one …is that right?

I put A…

I skipped 6 questions on the test, but I felt pretty good about the rest of my answers.
Is it still possible for me to get an 800?

Can someone verify that the standard deviation one was A, with the one bar?

The standard deviation one was definitely A.
