@Vedant12 so is the answer A/correct???
@Vedant12 how about the one closing the traffic on the bridge?
@asiankid88 I put the choice with “while a scene was being filmed” (something with “while”)
@asiankid88 Was that an improving sentence or error identification question? I remember the question but can’t remember the answer I chose. Do you remember some of the answers?
@Starior ???
@asiankid88 Do you happen to remember any of the questions in the critical reading dual passages about sports and money? I really want to know if I got stuff right or wrong in that particular passage.
@Pinguman123 one of them was like same rules for all, I forgot the others, ill need you to give me the questions
@asiankid88 Was the question about closing the traffic an error identification or improving sentence question?
@Pinguman123 There was an “everybody should be paid equal…” or something like that…
And there was a “fundamental laws” for “principals” as far as i can remember… But I’m not sure whether it belonged to the dual passage you’ve mentioned.
Dangit I was thinking “fundamental laws” for “principles,” but I think that was in the bats vs humans passage.
@Vedant12, yes that’s the question I’m referring to, if anyone could confirm that it wasn’t on their test, that’d be great!
It was definitely on Section 5 vedant! Because section 2 had last two questions as idiomatic error and a no error.
@asiankid88 I don’t really remember but I THINK (and I’m not too sure cause I can’t really recall a lot from the test day right now, lol) but the movie one was also A. I’m pretty certain that I ruled out 3 out of 5 choices as incorrect in that one. If you could remind me of an option that seemed plausible to you, I might be of more help.
Have to say though, that the question in itself- while awkwardly phrased- didn’t seem to be wrong when I first read it. So I’m inclined to say that it was A.
The last time I gave the SAT, I scored 770 on the Writing Section with a 10 on the essay- got just two wrong. During practise also, I have only ever gotten three wrong at most. Hoping for something similar this time around…
@AmericanDream69 do you remember the last two questions from Section 2?
Was one of them something with “adhere by” and it should have been “adhere to”? Are you ABSOLUTELY sure that this was on Section-2? Can someone who a Reading experimental confirm that they got this question in their Writing as well?
My god why is it so damn hard to recall which question came up in whuch section for me? Haha…
Oh and this question-
“Unlike the rest of Europe, astronomy in Victorian Britain was funded by wealthy and intellectual individuals, not by the kingdom/ government iself.”
Was probably on an experimental one. Could someone who didn’t get a Writing exerimental confirm they didn’t come across this?
@Vedant12 Which one was the movie one?
1-There was an error identification question that was like “… drip down D)their arm. E)No error.” I can’t remember the beginning of the sentence but I chose D because it should be arms not arm since the subject is plural. Can anyone confirm the answer for that?
2-An improving sentences question was like “The New York Botanical Garden has 250 acres-ground, one of the oldest and largest botanical gardens in the world.” What was the answer for that question? Can anyone remember?
3-In Section 10 there was again an improving sentences question, which was like “The school places (children of different ages) in the same class…” I chose A for that one but there was also an option that was “differently aged children” Can you guys confirm which was the true one?
@Vedant12 experimental confirmed
@Starior
1 - I got “their arms” just like you have for the same reason.
2 - I think I got “New York Botanical… is one of the oldest, and with 250 acres, is one of the largest” or something like that.
3 - I may have put “children of different ages” because “differently-aged children” changes meaning a bit.
@Starior I think it was C or something. sorta forgot. @Vedant12 you remember anything of the sort?
@Starior correct. it would be scary if they all shared a single arm. lol.
