Hi,
This was my first time doing the SAT and I prepared 1 week before (by doing 2 practice tests). I only got 1540. I am doing it again on the 6th of June and am going to start preparing now. What books should I purchase and how much can I boost my score?

Hope they get what they deserve.

Hey Mr. Samuel Lee, for someone who claims to be Samuel Lee and publicly states your name, I find it oddly curious that you are using Hushmail to hide your identity and IP address. Care to explain why? Or isn’t it rather obvious that you aren’t Samuel Lee and that you are the criminal who should be prosecuted for false impersonation and libel?

“The following instructors (and their institutes) have been complicit in distributing illegal exam materials days before the actual test administration.”

Where is the evidence other than hearsay and unsubstantiated rumors? You claim to have “several student witnesses” as direct evidence in the case of Jeffrey Sohn, but since you aren’t really Samuel Lee, it doesn’t matter, does it? And since you’re hiding behind a computer masking your identity, like a true coward would, you’re not going to come out of the closet, both literally and figuratively, are you?

@CleanSAT

“My recommendation would be to cancel all of the Korean students who are taking the exam in Korea or the abovementioned countries, for they obviously are receiving unfair advantages. Then the instructors who “guarantee” them their high scores will face humiliation and public anger. Let justice be served.”

Do you mean we should “cancel all of the Korean students” as in wipe them out or kill them all? Your usage of English is quite poor for someone who claims to be an SAT instructor in Korea. While it’s obvious that you meant that the College Board or ETS should cancel all “the scores” of the Korean students “who are taking the exam in Korea,” this doesn’t make any sense either. That means that your students (if indeed you are a legitimate teacher) who take the exam in Korea should have their scores nullified as well, doesn’t it? So, how in the world will these instructors who “guarantee” high scores face humiliation and public anger when innocent students are also being arbitrarily targeted and individuals like you and ConcernedK and Fair Test are the ones responsible for propagating false rumors and causing unnecessary delays “to the ultimate detriment of all students.”

I think if any justice is to be served, it is to have you take a remedial course in English, not just the SAT.

It turns out through a stroke on Google that this individual Albert Brown’s email address is albertbrown@ets.org, not abrown@ets.org. It is possible that the man changed his email, but as far as I know, ETS officials are only given one official email address to use.

Care to explain this discrepancy or show us further evidence of your correspondences with Albert, if indeed there really were any at all?

Who creates an ID like this? Possibly a frustrated teen whose mother isn’t going to buy him an iPad for his birthday or a disgruntled teacher who can’t afford one?
