I'm taking the SAT for the first time January 28th, who else is, also, what are your hopes going in? Mine are:
M: 800
CR: 650-750
W: 650-750

Most of the schools I want to go to don't really care about writing, so overall I really just want to get a superscore of over 1500, I'm hoping I can get this score early on so I only have to take the SAT once or twice. Hopefully once. Honestly though, even though I should get an 800 on math I might make some careless mistakes, and I'm also not sure how I'll do on the CR section. Got a 66 on CR on the PSAT, but I really wanna raise it.

CR: 800 (Two wrong is allowed so this should be possible for me)
Math: 790-800 (I am the best at math, but I rarely get a perfect 800, I usually get 1-2 wrong, so I am hope to get no more than one wrong on the real thing)
Writing: 760-800 (The range is broader here because it depends on the essay, which I expect a 10-12 on and the MC which I expect 0-2 wrong on.)

Hopefully a 2350+ on my first shot!! Good luck to you and everyone else taking it, I hope we get good curve as well.

I’ve taken a couple of practice tests lately and I seen to be getting borderline what I want. I just hope I can maintain these scores for the real SAT…

Math: 750+ (I’m good in math, I just need to exercise my math neural network till test day)
CR: 720+ (the bane of my existence so I’m not expecting a huge improvement from my 710)
Writing: 800 (I’m surprisingly good at this section, but my essays are terrible so I’m hoping for at least 9 essay)

I have 13 days left, so all I’m going to do now is practice…lets go!

I have already taken the November SAT, which I think I did decently on.
I got a 2210 composite - 690 M, 730 CR, and 790 W
Honestly, I’m just hoping to increase my math and make sure critical reading doesn’t go down…I kind of got lucky with the vocab. And I had a digital clock right in front of me which was SUPER helpful…and I know I’m not going to have a similar accomodation this time because I’m taking it at my school

My goals for this time are:
M - 750
Reading - 750
Writing - 800

Only 6 days left guys, what are all y’all doing in preparation? I’ve realized that it’s too late to learn much, so i’m going over the most common grammar errors which I actually never even looked over until yesterday (fail). Also I’m trying to memorize a lot of the 100 most common SAT words, that’s about it though. I’m sleeping a lot too :)

Well I’m taking one last practice test from the blue book right now but I took a break since theirs 3 people mowing lawns outside. And yeah that vocabulary and maybe some math section studying so I know how they try to trick you. Good luck guys! This is it!

Do u guys have any tips to getting my CR score past a 700…I’m stuck at like a 650…
please help
This is my first time taking the SAT …hope its not hard, and that there’s a big curve!!

I wish I could be studying for the SAT, but I have so much homework to do and I am not understanding some of it…:(. I have about 3 hours of homework each night this week, besides having to SAT study.

Anyways, I am hoping for
M: above 600
CR: 700
Writing: 700

Got a 2210 in December … hoping for 2300+. CR is good enough (790), but hopefully the curve is a bit more generous this month. Math (720) and Writing (700) need work; my essay was mediocre and I screwed up big time on the math.

I’ve been doing loads of practice tests and my score seems to be fluctuating between 2190 and 2250, so hopefully my streak continues into Saturday, hahahaha!

hey can you like decide what schools to send your scores to on test day? when you’re filling out all the forms before you actually test, can you designate the colleges you want the test to be sent to then? or do we have to wait until Feb 16?
