I just wanted to know what people thought of today's SSAT and hopefully we can post our results when they come.

I actually thought it was pretty easy, especially the reading!

It was extremely easy

I thought math was especially easy.

I thought it was really easy except the verbal, which is what I am terrible at

Anyone know when the results will come?

Usually 2 weeks, so around 1/17. But I’m sure most will start checking the score from 14th.

For the test dates just this past fall, the results were available online on the 2nd Monday after the test.

I think I did really good on the math!!! I am so happy! I answered all of them I think except one i cant remember but I noticed that there was a lot of trick questions, did any of you notice that?

@GMT, it was the second Tuesday after the test. For October, Nov, and Dec.

@ booklady, I stand corrected. I am constantly getting days mixed up w the time zone difference. It was indeed Tue in the U.S.

I thought the math was very easy, and the verbal was easier then I expected, but I thought the reading was actually harder then normal. Did anyone else struggle with the reading?

Same @math123456 the reading was hard but I guess it was because it was informational text and I’m better at fictional text. Also the math ha many trick questions which I caught myself on.

@funnygirl1200 there was only one question on the math I was unsure about, I guess we shouldn’t discuss individual problems because many people haven’t taken it yet.

As an international student, I struggled with verbal and reading (ESPECIALLY VERBAL), obviously. Maths was actually OK but I missed a few because I spent more time on those trick questions trying to correct my mistakes. I guess English is not my first language therefore I also had trouble understanding those Maths word problems. ANXIETY ATTACK urgh don’t want to know the results tbh… But truthfully, the test was easier than expected. I was kind of surprised there were 5 sections though? I thought there are only 4 sections… or is it just me? Maybe because I only had 2 weeks of preparation so I was not very experienced with the SSAT :(

@bsambition the experimental section does not count for anything. I took the December test and did not receive results until the 11th day after the test at around 4:00. We should expect our results between 5 and 10 days after the test (probably closer to 10 days).

@needtoboard If I didn’t do any question in the experimental section (or just randomly select answers), it would not hurt right? I should have read the instructions so that I wouldn’t have to spend all the time and effort in it Not to mention it was harder than the rest of the test.

I do agree that it was the hardest section and it will not hurt or help you at all.

I thought the reading was the easiest in the experimental. But the synonyms and analogies were death. Also, I had trouble with one question in the experimental for math but its good its not graded cause I think I did pretty good in the math sections

Really math was easy…
My best is math in school bu I got a 91 (my lowest score) in it…
I feel depressed …
Anyway… A lot of you say it was easy how much did you guys get…
I was proud of my overall 96… but now… not so much
