~~~~January SAT Official Math Discussion~~~~
Votes needed for these answers to be included in Consolidated:
beads ......... 20
isosceles ...... y=z
CDs ........... 32
For x^2=4y^2...
was it x or y for answer?
grayfalcon I did the exact same thing but since i had 15 minutes left i fixed it quickly.. but still it was worded wrong..
and i got one wrong in math and made USAMO so don't worry
Im predicting my math score to be 650, verbal to be 600, writing to be 630 LOL terrible score...
I KNOW i did the exact same thing about the calling plan. If i had known what it meant then i would NEVER have made that mistake.
You think we could complain about ambiguity here? Because i think '20 minutes at a rate of $1.00' can be intrepreted to ways. In the end i put the 188.
yo wuts teh 1/15 thing? can you guys explain?
ya it was something like1/8= x or soemthing and if u just reduce it you get 1/15
For the 1/15 one it was
(3x+y)/y = 6/5, find x/y.
Partial decompose into
3x/y + y/y = 6/5
3x/y = 1/5
x/y = 1/15
Correct answers anybody?
beads ......... 20
isosceles ...... y=z
Agreed, &1&2.
nxt SAT is march u can probably improve in math
lol the only one i got right was the 1 + x2 +x2 = 1
