June 4 SAT I Math Only

To avoid confusion on the other threads, i felt we should have a place where we can discuss JUST the math questions from today's SAT.
Begin...

i thought math was pretty good.

for the 3 digits one that had 2 have 2 of the same, not next 2 each other etc. i got 20 and then for the parallel lines with 3 circles in btween them i got 2sq3 +12

If x = 4, then y > 3. Which of the following must also be true?

(I don't remember all of the other choices.) Does anyone remember
If y > 3, x = 4
as being a choice?

why was it not 16? werent the diameters 8?

does anybody no the answer for that traingle thing..where is said trangle X=-X+1 or something?

what was the answer to the question where there was 1,2.8..11,13 and it said k is greater than 2/3 and what are the possible values of k?

I put x for the triangle(triangle x) function problem.

it was not 16 because the top circle and its diameter of course extend below the top tangent points of the other 2 circles

how about that quadrilateral problem where it told you to find angles of the marked angles. was it 720 - 360 = 360?

yea 360...if u try numbers it works out to 360 as well

"what was the answer to the question where there was 1,2.8..11,13 and it said k is greater than 2/3 and what are the possible values of k?"

That had the answers 1, 2, 3, 4, more than 4, right? If so, that was 4. I'm almost positive.

the answer was DEFINATLY 4...does anyone remember the grid in question where it asked for the slope..i put 6/3 but i think i messed up

*** are you guys talking about. i dont remember anything that you speak of.

"for the 3 digits one that had 2 have 2 of the same, not next 2 each other etc. i got 20 and then for the parallel lines with 3 circles in btween them i got 2sq3 +12"

...i thought it said it was a 2 digit number...anyone? so i put 9

no it was definately a 3 digit number...how else would you have 2 numbers the same but not enxt 2 each other? u can't have that in a 2 digit number...

"does anyone remember the grid in question where it asked for the slope..i put 6/3 but i think i messed up"

...i thought the slope was 3/6

slope was 6/3 OR 2.

8 - 2 / 4 - 1

you are rising 6 and running 3.

omg i put 5/2 i think...damn 1 wrong..

i had one with a list of numbers but it said what number would u pick so that the probabilty of picking a number great than that from the list would be 2/3.

So wouldnt the answer be 2.8,

I just remember the points on the right side of the rectangle being (8, 5) and (8, 2).
