~~~~January SAT Official Math Discussion~~~~
I put -1/2 too, and I checked it w/ the equations. I hope I got it right.
-1/2....4.....answer choices...????
what was the question
?/
Lucidity - I think that was 1/2, and the other term was -1/4.
section 2 and section 5 were fill ins so either could be expiremental right
I only had 1 fill-in section.
So did I.
I can't remember if I had 3 grammar, 4 critical reading... =(
I had 4 critical reading too! :)
LOL ...
on the question that had the answers...
-4
-1/4
-1/2
1/4
1/2
I guessed 1/2 with 10 seconds left. I am glad some people guessed or at least answered that answer.
Explain the rectangles in the circle one. I guessed 2 for that...(most of you answered 4 or more). I know I should have put that because 2 seemed like the "obvious" answer.
What about the one where
2^n + 2^n+2 = k
then in terms of k, what is 2+n+2?
I don't even remember the answers for this one, I guessed like 2k+1 I think.
I put K^2/3K or something like that. I know it has a dividing sign
I think it was 4k/3. That one was a bugger.
yeah I put something like that too.
Yeah, I got 4k/3.
i subsituted 2 in for the 2^n + 2^(n+1)=k question and got 12 for K and then for 2^(n+2) i got 16 so i guessed 4k/3 cuz i had no other idea
what was the answer to the clothes one where she wanted a red, white, and blue outfit?
6, I think.
cowtipper1 - I think the answer was 6, but I don't remember that well.
pretty sure it was 6. for her first pick she has 3 choices, 2nd pick she only has 2 choices left because the first color is eliminated and then only on left for the last one. 3x2x1=6 ? am i wrong?
i think it was 6.
i put 6 ggggg
