January SAT Writing Section

Yup...nothing wrong with the either aesthetic or intellectual appeal question.

I think there might have been something wrong with the bus question. I cant remember....

damn.. i cant remember if for the heart research one i put "research on heart.." or the "its"; i was undecided and cant remember.

i was thinking maybe "on heart w/e.." was a messed up idiom... hm.

good to hear about the "either" question i reread that sooo much.

I know its was ambiguous for the one on repeating strikes of electricity or something...

Can't remember!!!

^yup i said that.

One more vote for the "no error" on the "either aesthetic..." question.

And one more vote for the ambigous "it" in the heart disease question.

The "failed" passage: answer E is incorrect. I'm sure. It had a weird comma that didn't fit in. I don't remember quite right but the correct answer was either A or B (can't visualize, sorry). One of the "upper" answers for sure.

What bus and detour question? Was there a bridge or something? I remember something about a detour (I think) and it had no mistakes (I think).

The question with the strikes had a mistake with the plural and singular. Frequency was refered to as "they" so that was the error (if I remember correctly of course). I'm fairly sure that was the error

Can't remember anything else. starts trying to visualize

Yeah....for the strikes one, it was supposed to be plural. However, it's also ambiguous, so both reasons could work as long as you marked that answer haha.

i dont remember bus, detour, or strikes questions.

wait

on the page of the writing section where there were 3 sentence error problems then it went to correcting paragraph, were the first and third sentence error questions no error? on that page?

for the bus and detour one
the answer was b
it was supposed to be had not seemed as opposed to did not seem
or something like that

and for the precocious baby
it was not TO the family
it was FOR the family
so whichever answer had for in it
dunno which one though

actually i think it was BY the family.

yeah my bad lol

What did you guys put for the question about the electromagnetic sensors? It was something like "Electromagnetic sensors are used for lightning measuring blahblha..."

there was an ambiguous "it", yes?

The baby question was A (it's supposed to be "by the family")

The electromagnetics question had some kind of confusion about number again (I think). Or it was an "it". Don't quite remember. It could have no error too. I don't remember.

^ can someone verify this?

yes i agree^

I remember putting 4 Es (no error) on the Error ID part

For the Improving Paragraphs section, I remember putting A (no change) for two of them.

I'm normally decent at writing but these results are the weirdest I've ever seen, so I'm starting to doubt myself.

^yeah i got around that many no errors too

and for the number of As.

and yes, i agree that writing was abnormally hard - i usually get great writing scores but this time i am not expecting much

What was the answer to the principal/news/budget one?

^^I put no error for that one...

the one about african violet..."their flowers" <-thats the answer right? because its not plural
i was going to choose "array" because it means "an orderly arrangement" but i picked the one above
