I'm a senior applying for admission in Fall 2011. I've taken the SAT but think my scores might be a bit low, 1930, so I haven't sent them in. I emailed Wellesley and they said that I can use my January SAT score. Will this hurt my chances? I'm also considering Early Evaluation, so I'm in a time crunch! :/

Well, I wouldn’t know for sure, but if Wellesey adcoms said you can use the January score, I don’t see how it could hurt your chances! Admissions offices need time to sort out files, anyway-- they probably won’t even need to get to the SAT scores that fast?
You should probably rush the scores, though.
Good luck : )

Another thing is that when you register for the test, you put Wellesley down as one of the colleges to receive that score report. So the day your scores come out, Wellesley will see them as well. And you won’t have to rush them or anything!

That’s what I did for my Nov. Math II scores since I did ED… so to guarantee that the process go as smooth as possible, make sure you put Wellesley’s code down on the test sheet when you go take the test!

If I’m not making any sense, just PM me and I can explain it in a more non-confusing manner cause my friend is waiting to use the computer ^_^
