January SAT

Do colleges in general accept the January SAT scores..if you rush send them?

some do, some dont, depends on the college

usually they dont accept rush scores

I suggest u call specifically, because School like Upenn accepts Jan test while cornell doenst

Cornell does, i called and asked....unless the !@$#@ lied to me

almost all good schools do as long as your january scores aren't the first set of scores for the SAT. No need to rush them either unless there is a major screw up somewhere along the lines, because even though collegeboard says it takes 2-3 weeks to reach them, in all reality it takes 4-5 days and they get put on a computer database of scores designed for that specific college and the college can access it and print scores in whatever manner they prefer.

My uncle is a retired adcom, he told me about this stuff. Also, most colleges get low level folks to do the busy work and print up cards with your highest SAT score for each section...so although the "college" may see all ur scores, ur adcoms will only see your highest in any section.

Hope that helps. Peace
