Could someone please list/name the Liberal Arts Colleges and National Universities that accept applications (from international students) for admission in January/Spring?

I know UTexas, BU and UMich are three of such universities, and I guess some of the UCs, too, have January admission (not sure which ones, though), but I'm looking for more names.

Also, could you specify which of the UCs accept students for the Winter/Spring term?

Anyone? Could someone at least name a few?

UCs do not accept applications for spring. All applications are for fall enrollment, but some campuses may offer students a spring admission (due to crowding).

Are you aware of any other colleges/universities that offer Spring/January admission?

I don’t know what kind of school you are looking for, but Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas admits students in January.

Here is the link for their international student admissions page:

[How to Apply, International Programs, Washburn University, Topeka, Kansas](http://www.washburn.edu/iip/apply.html)

According to US News and World Reports, Washburn University is rated seventh in the Midwest among public master’s level universities.

It’s also not too late to apply for Fall admission - the deadline is June 15.

Actually, the only reason I intend to go for Spring '11 instead of Fall '10 is the fact that I want to improve my stats and apply to the top tier schools (LACS or National Universities). I already have admission offers from a few good colleges (Fall '10), but I would really like to attend a school that’s better.

Not sure why you can’t do this research yourself. Look on the websites of the various “better schools” that you have identified. All the info will be there.

I know of only one college, Middlebury, that has a “February admit”, but I believe those admissions are completed at the same time as their Fall admissions. That is, they don’t have a separate deadline for a February admit. I suspect that the only or best way to improve your stats and then to reapply and to take a full gap year. That will get you in Fall 2011, but as far as I know, schools simply don’t have different admissions midyear.

Mount Holyoke has something similar to Middlebury, but like Middlebury, the applications are completed at the same time as the Fall 2010 ones.
