Japanese SAT II?

I’m a junior and I just started learning Japanese for self enrichment. I’m also learning it to be more in touch with my culture since I’m half Japanese but was never taught the language.

Do you think I should take the Japanese SAT II?

There’s a possibility that I could do REALLY badly but do you think colleges would admire the fact that I did spend time learning my parent’s language and had the confidence to take the subject test?

I don’t know. What do you think? I also want to continue studying Japanese in college.

Well I’d try to find a practice test or some practice questions and see how you do. I mean it’s up to you; I doubt it could negatively impact your application in any way as it is quite ambitious. I’d say if you can put some time in, then go for it

Well, since you’re a junior, I would suggest to continue studying for another year and then take it senior year. Assuming you study diligently, your skill by next year will be markedly different from what it is now.

On a side note, I will be taking the November Japanese SAT! Hopefully it’s not too different from the official CB practice test.

Can you have a conversation introducing yourself and talking about simple things?

It’s Chino!

Yes it is

Only if you ace the test; you get no credit just for showing up.
