Should I take the SAT 2 Japanese? (non native)

Hi guys,
Im considering taking the sat 2 japanese this november as a non native speaker. Ive completed 2 years of the language in school with a native japanese teacher and have studied a bit on the side as it interested me. I recently took the practice test in collegeboards sat subject test book and scored a 740. This was caused from lack of kanji knowledge as I got a 100% in both the usage and listening (which i hear is the hardest). I have 2 questions.
1.Is it worth it to take a language subject test over a test like chemistry or math 2? (which im also taking)
2. Is scoring high on this test as a non native speaker a plus when applying to colleges?

Edit: I dont know if this helps or not, but I am an Asian-Indian living in America.
