<p>Saxophone players: Coleman Hawkins, Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon among the old guys. Joshua Redman, Eric Alexander among the new.</p>
<p>Also love Horace Silver, Thelonius Monk, Duke Ellington, and many, many more.</p>
<p>Marc Antoine, he has some great songs, especially in the Urban Gipsy album</p>
<p>Sadly a lot of them toil in relative obscurity:</p>

<p>I like Najee and George Benson. Also, a lot of the songs by the artist Sade come on the jazz station, and her band is a jazz band. I absolutely LOVE her!</p>

<p>Do i wish i knew more about! I'm a drummer and have been playing for 6 years. I have done little in jazz and want to now. Also, I haven't listened to that much, but I do have a lot of random standards and a few standard albums such as Kind of Blue and Time Out. Anyway, suggestions?</p>
