<p>Boy... I heard his New CD called "The Essential" online today and it's amazing. With 31 great pieces of music and he also co-performed many pieces with great asian artists.</p>

<p>Well, I've been playing the saxophone for 12 years, and I know a good player when i hear one. Kenny G can play fast, but he cant play well. His tone is nothing special, and he has awful technique. Amongst musicians, Kenny G is one of the most awful saxophonists.</p>
<p>Ok, now THAT's something I can't argue with. I don't play saxophone so I have no idea what techniques are good and bad. But there were some pretty decent songs on the CD (I think)...</p>
<p>I would be etremely surprised. bad vibrato, fast playing, no phrasing... ill check it out, but id be extremely surprised</p>
<p>But it's alright if you like him, many people do, but as a trained player, I know he is way overrated. :)</p>
