Jelinek Summer Workshop in Speech and Language Technology at JHU -- undergrad summer research

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here I go:

I’m a non-JHU CS major interested in the Jelinek Summer Workshop. I’ve done some speech processing research in the past so I thought this could be fun.

Has anybody participated in this program? How’s the experience? Is there any admission ‘bias’ against underclassmen like freshmen and sophomores?
