Tomorrow, I will know my admission decision for UC Berkeley, my dream school! I've already been accepted to UC Davis, UC San Diego and finally UCLA with a 3.8-3.9ish GPA with no TAP.

I'm scared too death and have been thinking of what to do if I don't get into Cal. I know I've posted a similar post before that annoyed the hell out of everyone but I can't help it. I need an outlet to whine if I'm paranoid and if the fate of my future starts tomorrow.

So my main question is do I have a good change to I into Cal as a poli sci major if I got into UCLA? I already have my IGETC and my prerequisites for poli sci done during Fall 2006.

Please respond and be honest. Your response, regardless of whether they are assuring or not assuring, will bring relieve to my Berkeley paranoia.

M, you need to not put all your eggs into one basket. If I were you, I'd concentrate on your game plan after the Cal decision. If you get in, easy, if not, consider appeals. Start thinking of some people you would like to write Recs for you (I am not saying go do this right now, but keep someone in mind so that on monday when you find out you can request them right away).

I don't believe all this if you get into UCLA you get into Cal, there is no way of saying. 2 Different schools looking for top talent, but different characteristics.

Anyways, it doesn't matter now, what is done is done. Good luck tomorrow, and stay in school. LOL.

I'll say the same thing to you that I've been telling myself: If I don't get into Cal I still have UCLA, which is truly one of the best schools in the nation. Yes it scary to be possibly rejected from the one school you truly want to go to, but either way you have a very bright future ahead of you. Keep things in perspective :-)

you know what, i just thought of something that would make our scientific study more legitimate. Let's all use THE SAME BOGUS PASSWORD, just in case the length makes a difference.

I wan't sure if I was going to get into berkeley, but I checked my that housing website, and I was able to log in and acess my application, so what does that mean?
