<p>How is JHU in Econ and Busniess? I am turned off by the competitive nature, but then I heard it was only the pre meds. How is everyone else on campus?</p>
<p>I've heard that JHU Econ dept. is very well respected and after talking to a current Econ. major, I got the idea that it had interesting electives and a lot of flexibility.</p>

<p>You name it, in finance and business, Hopkins kids are everywhere. Most will do either International Studies or Econ with the Entrepreneurship & Management Minor in the school of engineering.</p>
<p>A lot of the bulge bracket banks recruit on campus (i.e. Goldman Sachs, Lehman Bros, JP Morgan) as well as others like Bear Stearns, Citigroup and Bank of America. This list is far from complete.</p>
