<p>A little scared… I was rejected by Cornell today. I believe Cornell and Hopkins have similar acceptance rates, no?</p>

<p>For those scared, were you expecting to get in from the start? Because that would be a setup for disappointment.</p>
<p>Does anyone know the average acceptance rate for Biomedical Engineering? As I understand it the BME acceptance tends to be much lower than the regular rate. </p>
<p>^ on the bright side, you can still be accepted into the university while not the BME program specifically </p>
<p>If anyone does have any stats or rates complied for BME or knows of a link let us know?</p>
<p>damn… got rjcted Rice, Duke, Cornell, Dartmouth, UPenn (ED), and Harvard… not sure if I even have a shot at JHU at this point anymore </p>

<p>And also, my condolences to those who didn’t get into schools today. Many of my friends did not either, and I know it must be sad. Just know that as long as you are passionate and hard working you will be successful in life and your careers.</p>

I believe admissions decisions are released at 3:00PM EST, though I could be wrong.</p>

<p>That doesn’t mean I can’t get in… admission to one university doesn’t correlate with others. Also, got waitlisted at Brown, and Dartmouth, so that doesn’t mean I can’t get in! Also, being positive is never a bad thing, and if I’m not admitted it’s because everything happens for a reason.

<p>@Phoenix55555 i legit was thinking the same thing. EVERYONE from my school got rejected/WL’d from the ivies…except for my friend who got into cornell ED and that’s it…JHU is really the only GReat chance i have left and thats up in the air</p>
<p>What state are you from @collegeapp2018 ? The only 2 schools I have left is Vandy and JHU, and if I dont get into either, Im going to be screwed… 
Will probably end up going to Univ. of Florida at that point… </p>
