JHU ED. Chance me...PLEASE

<p>I applied to Johns Hopkins University for Early Decision. The decision letter will be sent out on Dec. 16 (6 days after my birthday). I am so anxious. I literally cannot sleep. So can someone or few people chance me? My profile IS BELOW JHU's 50% profile. In fact, it's probably hard to image that I would even get in. But I LOVE JHU...It has been my dream school since 7th grade. I'm...UGH >_<"</p>

<p>SAT: 1960 </p>

<p>Rank: 15%</p>

<p>Extracurricular: I have commit to A LOT, so not really worry about this part. Orchestra, Strolling Serenata, Honors Orchestra, Volunteer at the Hospital, NHS, Math Honor Society, Science Olympiad, Math League, National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC), etc. </p>

<p>Essay: I wrote about the day I moved from Taiwan to United States, and how I confronted the challenges of learning a new language, culture, and society.</p>

<p>Is your CR + math 1350 or more? Then it seems like you could be in the ballpark even if you are technically below the 50% range because it seems slightly easier when you apply early. But if the breakdown of the 1960 is more like 1300 for math and CR, I would try to get excited about some other schools too.</p>
