is it harder to get into medical school at jhu if you're already an undergrad there as well?

JHU Medical school is one of the hardest medical schools in the country to get into -- acceptance rate is in the single digits every year. A Johns Hopkins undergrad completing the premed track has a slight, very slight advantage in getting in to the medical school. There is no guaranteed enrollment program.

In previous years the largest enrolling group of students at Hopkins Med have been JHU undergrads. Last year it was 19 of the 120 enrolling students. Since JHU undergrads have constant access to the Medical School during their years for study and research, and also access to one of the top premed programs in the country -- the acceptances to JHU Med and other top Medical schools is strong.
