JHU graduate school

well i've always thought that it is easier for someone to get into the graduate school that he/she is the undergraduate of, until i talked to my friends and they told me that medical schools like Harvard basically abhors its undergraduates. does anyone know JHU's medical school's attitude towards its undergraduates?

thanx

JHU's Med school saves a specific number of spots for its undergrads. It's not huge, but it guarantees that Hopkins has the highest acceptance rate by school.

"Harvard basically abhors its undergraduates. "
:-D
Familiarity breeds contempt.

haha yes, stupid harvard. thanx silver.

The undergraduate institution most represented in the student body at Harvard Med is Harvard College.

Ditto for JOHNS HOPKINS.
(After JHU, Harvard is the second most represented college at JHU Med).

JHU accepted 12 students from its undergraduate class into its medical school last year. Overall JHU accepted only around 100 students. that more than 10 percent of its freshman class from its undergrad school.

yea but how many are from Harvard, Yale etc...

Much less. There are many schools, and they do try to have a diverse class. They cant have 10 ppl from each Ivy and have that be the entire class
