Okay so I got accepted to JHU as a freshmen graduating year 2014, and I'm pretty sure I'll be heading over there in the fall. (I'm an international student -- Japanese)

I have one goal set in my mind which is to be a doctor, so going to medical school is already on my radar no matter what.

So my question is, how hard is it to get into the JHU medical school, being an JHU undergraduate? I know I'm looking pretty far into the future and all, but it's really important for me to consider this before I say "yes" to the school.

So please, if anyone can help me out with the stats or any advice, please do :)

Congrats on getting into Hopkins! A couple things about going from Hopkins undergrad to Hopkins med: First, being a Hopkins undergrad gives you no specific advantage when applying to Hopkins medical school. No matter where you apply to med school, you’ll be looked upon well for being a Hopkins student but Hopkins med does not give any preference to Hopkins undergrads. Hopkins students do end up doing very well in medical school admissions and end up at all the top medical schools. When you look at the medical school class at Hopkins med and look at where the students went to undergrad, the largest group is from Hopkins undergrad, but they are still a small part of the Hopkins med class.

a year or so later but I just want to add that ~20% of jhu admittances are jhu undergrads. they have no preference but since jhu seems to have te beat facility for undergrad to get into med school, it happen like that. this is merely a paraphrase of what I read from admissionsdaniel a while ago.
