Sounds crazy to some, but I really like WM. JHU is beautiful, but a lot more money. Science degree and hopefully medical school. Thanks for any input.

I definitely know what you mean about loving WM (I feel the same way...havent visited though yet) but my impression is that JHU is far more selective and prestigious. I think it really depends on where you'll be happy, though; I've heard that if you're going to go to graduate school your undergrad doesn't matter as much in terms of future employment.

Isn't JHU on par with UVA in prestige? I would say that WM gets the shaft in the "prestige" department as I would put it at the same level as those two. Maybe I'm just nieve...

I think anything top 30ish will get you anywhere you really need to go in life, far beyond anyone else. I don't think you should be so picky over comparing JHU, U.Va, and W&M, because they all have their flaws.

If you want to do bio, WM is really top notch...

I'll be visiting both and hoping to do an overnight at each. Ordered **************.com books on both also. I can't imagine saying no to either one--I like them both for different reasons. W&M is 34K oos, JHU is 47K. I guess my visits during school break will help me to decide, or my parents will say that the money makes the decision. Thanks all
