I am having a difficult time putting these schools in order of my liking. I'm majoring in chemistry, which will hopefully lead me to medicine. I know all four of these schools are excellent in their pre-med programs; however, I've been thinking of taking out MIT just because it seems more focused on a math/engineering level. Also, from what I've heard, WUSTL has many students who are happy at the school, while JHU is a cut-throat school. What do you guys think? I'm lost with making a decision!!

For your situation, I would rank order them by preference:

WashU
JHU
Cornell (move to #2 if their financial aid is much better than JHU)
MIT

Cornell has the best premed program while JHU has the best biomedical program.

I would go for Cornell.

I’ve done a lot of research, and as of now I would rank them as:

WUSTL
Cornell
JHU
MIT

I need more input about MIT and JHU, cuz I’m thinking of removing those and putting in Emory.

averby, define ‘premed.’ like, i don’t think cornell has any specific major called anything like that, only majors called bio sciences etc.

that’s the major i’m going into btw
