Hello, It is decision day and my student still can’t decide between JMU and Rutgers. Planning to major in health science, nursing or PA. We are from NJ. Any thoughts will be appreciated. Cost is similar because of scholarship Thank you!
Honestly which does the student feel more comfortable at. How far do they want to be from home? Where do they want to live after college - Rutgers may be better getting into a nursing job in NJ while JMU may be better suited if they want to be in the DC Metro, Virginia, Maryland area after college.
Have they toured both and had any opinion. Its really a personal preference as your going to get a good education with opportunities at both.
