For those who are in the transfer process, did the JMU Admissions Office send you an email asking for your mid-semester grades? Also, before you received your admissions decision in the mail, did you receive an email saying that decisions had been mailed out? Thanks.

No to both questions. I just received a packet

same as mgaskins for me. just received a packet in the mail

Hmm, are both of you sophomores at your current institution? I am a freshman, so I wonder if that is the reason they were asking for my midterm grades. This might be the case you think?

I am currently a sophomore at a 4 year university.
Being a freshman could definitely be the reason why they’re asking for you midterm grades. I’ve heard of that case couple times, especially for community college first years.

I am at a 4 year institution as well. I haven’t received a letter of acceptance nor of rejection yet thought, so I’m on pins and needles waiting. It’s like high school all over again.

I’m a sophomore at a CC

does it matter when you submit your application? as in early vs. late february? i haven’t heard anything and i feel like i’m dying.
