Job interview help !

I have an interview tomorrow for Quiznos and it'll be my first official job interview and I'm nervous as heck just thinking about it! Any tips??

Btw, does $8 an hour sound reasonable to you guys?

Just smile and be extremely positive. In a fast food job, they’re looking for good customer service. Be personable. FIRM handshake when you walk in and be energetic and you’ll get the job.

No, it’s not reasonable. DEMAND A RAISE ON THE SPOT. No, I’m kidding. $8 is around minimum wage, so yes, it’s reasonable for a job at Quizno’s.

convey a friendly disposition and a good, cooperative attitude and you should be good

Yes, $8/hr is good. It’s actually a reasonable wage for a starting job. My advice: be positive, be confident, be yourself, and act professional. Don’t display any signs of negativity. Confidence and positivity is the key my friend  You will do fine, don’t worry.

I’d also say that for any interview, make sure you consider WHY you’re doing the job, and that it matches up with the purpose of the company. If the "why"s match, you will connect.

-Clean/self-manicure nails (It’s food service so you want to look clean)
-Don’t wear white socks

I have received these tips in the past and while it probably doesn’t matter for a regular part time job, it doesn’t hurt.
Look up some typical interview questions and answers too. It’s good to have some planned answers.

Give complete answers to questions! I hate when I interview someone, ask them the generic questions on our interview guide, and they give me 2 or 3 word answers. It makes the interview super short, which means that I don’t get a good idea of how the candidate would work out. For some people I feel like I am pulling teeth to get them to answer the questions more thoroughly. It’s okay to take a pause to think about it, and ask thoughtful questions to show your sincere interest in the business.
