Which is better for college admissions: a run-of-the-mill job or an internship at a local law firm? (I am extremely interested in becoming a lawyer)

I would say definitely the internship at the law firm is more interesting to colleges and challenging, if you can afford to do without the $$ from the job. Maybe if you do well at the lawyer’s office, they will start paying you at some point? Also the lawyers went to 1- 2 colleges each, and will serve as a good reference for you.
