Job Perspective

Hey guys, I know that UNC is famous as "a great school for a great price". I am concerned about the job perspective here. I am an international student and I do not plan to go to graduate school immediately after I finish my undergraduate studies. I am going to major in business or finance. So can anyone tell me something about business student's job perspective? Thanks a lot!

i also asked this same question but no one seems to touch the subject, which should say enough in itself...maybe not. i dont know. if you ever do, let me know please.

Perhaps you would find better answers to your questions if you would take the time to explore the information available on the UNC website. For instance, try:

<a href="http://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/Programs/BSBA/careerServices/placement.cfm%5B/url%5D">http://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/Programs/BSBA/careerServices/placement.cfm</a>

and other pages referred to there with regard to employment for business majors.

I suspect this information is better, and more reliable, than any responses you are likely to get here.

ive posted my thoughts on this topic in other threads..on the unc website somewhere it said that the research triangle (raleigh-durham-chapel hill) is ranked #2 nationally for business job placement

Here's a link to RTP and the corporations housed there. They do recruit from the area universities.

I do think that the one reason people haven't answered the question here, is that it's been posted before-and answered. You just have to do a search here. And as tyr said, you could check the various web sites (UNC Kenan-Flagler as well as RTP). It's all out there.

Thanks everyone! I am still thinking whether I should transfer. I am from Bard College in New York and I am getting a partial scholarship from Bard now. My financial aid might increase for the next academic year, but I still don't know at the moment. I have one more month to think about it. Thanks once again!

sorry for being an ass...
