So I'm seventeen years old and applying to quick-service restaurants and some of them want me to upload a resume. My school had this required Career Search class where we made resumes, and I want to know which of the following I should include: high school I'm attending, GPA, class rank, classes taken, previous employment, volunteer experience, "workplace skills" (I'm thinking no), school-related extracurriculars, awards from school, a chemical engineering mentorship I've had, the fact that I've taken piano lessons for ~8 years.

high school I’m attending: Yes
GPA: sure, assuming near 4.0
class rank: if it’s impressive
classes taken: no
previous employment: yes
volunteer experience: yes
“workplace skills”: if you have any that make you desirable, sure
school-related extracurriculars: include clubs/organizations and leadership
awards from school: yes
a chemical engineering mentorship I’ve had: yes
the fact that I’ve taken piano lessons for ~8 years: no

Keep it to one page-- if you you feel like you need more, start deleting the least important things. Use consistent formatting in fonts/spacing, and make it look nice. Use bullet points. Attractive/professional layout goes a long way for highschool students.

Thanks!

Nah, it’s just a list of adjectives the school made us put on it. Like “tenacity” and stuff like that. I took it out.
