Jobs in NYC

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I was wondering what kind of Engineering Majors would have better job opportunities in the greater NYC metropolitan area after undergrad. I am currently a Bioengineering major, however, I really want to stay in NY. I have a fair amount of interest in all engineering majors (picked Bioengineering thinking I would be able to remain in NY) but now I'm having second thoughts since I was told that Bioengineers really only get hired after graduate.</p>

<p>Mostly civil and electrical (but more geared towards CS). A few mechanicals here and there.</p>

<p>CS by miles. There are more CS jobs, than EE, Civil E, MechE, Bio Engineering combined in NY.</p>
