I just got an email yesterday saying I got in from the waitlist!!!
Wow congrats!! Kinda confused though because it says online there’s no movement from the waitlist until after May 1. I wonder if that means low yield rate this year?
When is the latest they will accept someone from the waitlist?

I just got into Johns Hopkins! I received the email today, I applied Applied Mathematics & Statistics as my first choice and Computer Science as my second choice.
Congrats! also @misskeisha I believe most colleges have multiple waves of acceptances off the waitlist. Waitlists fill slots so it would make sense Hopkins does it in waves to ensure all the seats are filled.

Its a rolling waitlist, so they have a locked list that they basically go through in order of who they want to admit. It can take all the way to August to get a response from them. It’s a game of luck right now, rip…
Got an email at 1:59 pm today saying “Although we have currently met our enrollment target for next year, in the event that space becomes available, we will admit students from our extended summer wait list. The admissions committee would like to offer you a place on this extended wait list” followed by a yes/no form. Is that good new or don’t-get-your-hopes-up news?
Got placed on the “extended summer waitlist” earlier this morning…

My son received an email yesterday saying that they no longer accept anybody from waitlist.
