I found out that I got accepted (as a transfer) in Hopkins as well as Emory. I planning to major in business but Hopkins doesnt have a business school so I was thinking an econ major with a business minor. I know emory has a great business school but Hopkins has a better name especially if I want to get a job afer college probably in the northeast but thats not for sure. I am from the northeast. what should i do?

Emory.... I have many friends, colleagues in the business world here in NYC ( I am a CPA and Attorney myself ). Several came from EMory undergrad / grad school...none from JHU. I do know kids that went to JHU..fine school, but for an overall undergrad experience ( nicer campus, etc...) I would go to Atlanta.

I feel that emory is more known for business, while johns hopkins is better for the sciences and premed. Business people are going to know Emory nation wide.

Johns Hopkins actually has undergraduate, graduate and MBA programs, although the programs are relatively new (like 1 or 2 years old).

Bachelor of Science in Business and Management

As stated above, Emory is known for having a solid business program, whereas JoHo is trying to build up a reputation for its business program.
