Hello, all! I’m applying as neuroscience major. I have had straight A’s (except one A- in AP Calc BC) in my senior year, but I had couple of B+'s in my sophomore and junior years, and lower semester grades. I think my broad interests (art, music, volunteer, science), less strength in academics, and basically no hook (I’m an East Asian) might be all downsides…
Since I found out that I am waitlisted at Wash U yesterday, I’m getting really anxious about the result tomorrow.

@Soyabean sammmeeeeeeee. I got some nice extracurriculars/interests, but pretty low academics stuff. I’m just praying that I get lucky with my schools hahaha
@Katyedfd I’m on the same boat with the extracurriculars. I had too many family emergencies occurring throughout high school that affected my progress in academics.
@bbdoll sigh…it really is a struggle to get into an amazing school. I hope everything’s at least somehow worked out for you and your family emergencies! I wish you the best in your college decisions!!!
