i’m freaking out. i really hope that the tax forms mean something. i mean… they called me twice and the woman that’s in charge of the financial aid office emailed me personally saying she got my forms but that she also needed businesses forms. this was only on tuesday too… i’m just hoping… wishing… ughhhhhh anxiety
Just to keep on the lighter side as this nerve racking time is approaching and to remind ourselves why we are putting ourselves through this, I was just wondering if anyone wanted to share when they decided that Hopkins was the right school for them and why
I want to study international studies and hopefully do some sort of charity work when I’m older; Hopkins does a combined BA/MA international studies program that no other school does.
Honestly good luck to you all. Having this forum has really helped calm me down and I don’t know any of you but I really am so thankful for all of your help. I hope that we all get in tomorrow!
Personally I had always heard of Hopkins (because I took the CTY testing) but I had never considered it as an option. That is until I got an email form them over the summer inviting me to apply to heir multicultural flyin program (I thought why not at the very least I get to visit and incredibly prestigious school and a city/state I have never been to) As soon as I stepped on to the campus I just fell in love with its beauty and as the weekend continued I loved the kindness and brilliance of all of the students/faculty I met, I loved the atmosphere, I loved all of the academics and opportunities for research. Ever since I got back I can’t keep my mind of the school and I jumped on my first opportunity to apply I am still so flabergasted that I even had the opportunity to be considered by such an amazing school (I will be first generation college student)
