<p>His grades may keep him from being named a NMF. Don’t know what the GPA guidelines are for NA.</p>
<p>For some reason, I misread his GPA as a 3.7…instead of 3.1.</p>
<p>However, I don’t know how much leeway they will give a male AA with a 2400 SAT…I don’t know the exact numbers of how many male AA’s have a perfect 2400 with one sitting, but I think the numbers are very low. And, his SATIIs (all of them! wow) are amazing.</p>
<p>I think schools may think that he found school too easy/bored…and busied himself with other things.</p>
<p>All in all, he’s still in the top 20% for his school, so it doesn’t sound like his school engages in a bunch of grade inflation. The top 20% at many schools is like a 3.6 or higher.</p>
