Congrats Pualum! If I may ask, what state do you live in?
Also, can you verify the dates of the competition? March 13 is a Friday I believe, and either way, that contradicts this portion of W+L’s website: http://www.wlu.edu/johnson-program (It says March 8-10)
Just received 2 fedex in Charlotte NC. BUT I also received one for another child at my address If your initials are TD and you are waiting for your Fedex, Tell me your name and if I have yours we can figure out how to get it to you or if you are impatient I can open it for you?
My son’s letter says the Scholarship competition is Sunday March 8 - Tuesday March 10. You have to register by Friday Feb 13. Maybe that is where the confusion came in?
Kelowna, Don’t know for sure if getting the Fedex envelope means a yes but I think you should be hopeful. Also - the envelope is thin as there is only 1 sheet of paper inside.
Yes, very thin envelope. I am hoping that they would not waste money overnighting rejections And since the registration deadline is Feb 13, they are fedexing invited kids for a prompt response. I am hoping ! Left the envelope for my daughter to open…
To everyone receiving their envelopes, what kind of service does it say on the label that it was shipped with? Was it Fedex overnight? Ground? Saturday delivery? etc.
The shipping is Fedex priority overnight Saturday Delivery. Of course, they would need to deliver it to your correct address. I still don’t know what to do with Tyler D’s fedex which was delivered to my address with my son’s. I called admissions but the msg says to call back Monday. I tweeted someone with his name who is a senior in high school - haven’t heard anything back.
I appreciate everyone’s updates! Does anyone know if there is a possibility that one may still be considered for other scholarships like, say, the Robert E Lee scholarship if an envelope was not received today? Thanks!
@amanda19 Thanks! What time did you get the envelope, if I may ask?
So if I don’t receive a Fed-Ex today, I can pretty much assume I’m out of the scholarship, right everybody?
