Here's a blog I wrote for a contest. Please read it and comment, whether you agree or disagree! I'd love to hear your opinions and the more comments I have, the more of a chance of winning I have. Thank you!

I thought it was really good.

I thought that your second point (We [the US] would not currently be involved in the war in Iraq) was a bit weak. The only examples that you used to back up this assertion were 1.) that Gore is a "sensible" man and 2.) that because Clinton avoided war, Gore would have as well. Gore would not necessarily have acted like Clinton simply because the two shared the same political party (the Taft-Roosevelt friction is a slightly old but still good example of intraparty disagreements). It's dangerous to assume things, and I don't think that you gave a great enough reason for doing so. Obviously, removing this point altogether would destroy your list and weaken your entry... but, I would have tried to research more and add more concrete arguments to this point.

I agree with the majority of what you say, though =)

PS- should I have posted this as a comment?

I couldn't get it to open...

You probably should post that as a comment. And thank you for reading! I've edited it; you might want to read it. Small changes, mostly just adding statistics and a factual correction or two.

Fun read. I'm a bit biased in my opinions about Bush and stuff just so you know. It isn't the most objective blog, but I liked it lol.

I disliked the Gore war in Iraq part for exactly the same reasons as LesOs.

Nice job.
