Joining the navy after college or

Would there be any advantages of going to the naval academy over others who are currently attending a state university and wanting to pursue a career in the Navy?

Are there graduate school options available for people that are wanting to further their education as well?

I’m intended to graduate next spring semester and I’ve been recently interested in joining and I’m mildly upset that I didn’t consider the academy to be an option when I was younger. I am currently 23 this year.

If anyone can lighten me with some information regarding the routes and steps I can take, it would be most obliged.

If you are currently 23 you would be over the age limit for USNA. Since you are already graduating next spring, you might as well straight apply for Officer Candidates School, and at least in participate in ROTC workouts if your school has a unit.
